Grooming Philosophy
Hi, I’m Julie and these are my four fur babies!
This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what I believe in. I’m here to look after and help your pet, led by a commitment to care for your pet as if it was my own!
My Approach
What sets me apart from other groomers is my passion to care for the health and wellbeing of your pet. I am committed to making the grooming process as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and will change my techniques to suit each and every pet so no two grooms are the same. Often by doing this it will add substantially more time to the groom than what others groomers take but I believe that making the groom enjoyable for your pet is more important than fitting as many dogs as I can into a day. Here are some examples of what makes Julie’s Pet grooming different
I include services that others put as extras such as anal glands. nail trims, ear cleans as I believe it all contributes to the health and wellbeing of your pet so it shouldn’t be an “extra”
One on one grooming with no other clients in at the same time as your pet/s.
I do not cage dry as I adjust the speed, nozzle and heat to suit each dog. I also like to monitor the dogs stress levels and take breaks as required as most dogs do not like being dried.
I use a fresh clean towel for every dog (I wouldn’t want to share a towel with a stranger, not even a clean one)
There are plenty of treats, breaks, pats and cuddles. I believe that a happy dog leads to a better groom both this time and the next.
I take the time to report back to you at the end of the groom anything unusual or different that I find, such as lumps and bumps.
What sets Julie’s Pet Grooming apart isn’t just my process—it’s the intention behind it. I take time to understand, explore and care, with the wellbeing of your pet being the focus at every turn.
